If you often wake up in the morning with a headache, there could be many reasons you are waking up with these headaches.

Lets look at one possible reason:

Teeth Grinding

This is more common than you would think as many people do grind their teeth while sleeping at night but are totally unaware of it. Excessive teeth grinding can cause tightness and pain to develop in the muscles of the jaw, as well as in the neck and head.

This problem can often be addressed with a remedy as simple as using a ‘nightguard’ fitted for you by a dentist. This is just piece of soft plastic that is basically a mouth guard like boxers where and you wear it while you sleep to prevent your teeth from grinding

You can just go to Wal-mart and get a plastic mouth guard in the sports section and boil it and then put it in your mouth and suck on it to make it fit. You can use the small youth one and trim it away to be small. You only need a little bit up by your front teeth to keep your back teeth, or any of your teeth for that matter, from being able to come in contact with each other

Using herbs for acne can be a healthy and natural way to treat the problem many people face, at different ages. There are many affective solutions available. Herbal acne treatments could be just the thing that is needed to get rid of these unsightly blemishes. Reducing redness, blackheads, whiteheads, and scars can be accomplished with a little research and effort into finding these natural products that have healing powers.

There are several herbs for acne, herbal combinations and herbal teas that have helped people get their systems clearing up cases of acne. Among them are the single herbs… Burdock, Fenugreek, Yellow Dock, Cascara Sagrada, Oregon Grape, and Chickweed.

You can either grind these plants up and create masques or washes of your own or purchase professional products that include these plants that are available in your local drug store or department store.

Most herbal medications or treatments that will naturally control your acne are available at nature stores in your area.

Contact your local whole foods store that specializes in wholesome or organic goods in order to find the best herbs for acne problems.

Dandelion root tincture (Taraxacum officinale) is recommended.

Others include burdock root (Arctium lappa), also known as gobo, and can be purchased fresh at health food grocers or in Asian markets. It can be used either raw or cooked in salads, stir-fries, or other vegetable dishes.

Burdock, dandelion root, sarsaparilla and red clover all promote a good healthy blood stream so these can help acne as well.

Lastly some good herbs for acne that have anti-inflammatory properties and are good for the skin are witch hazel, tea tree oil, licorice root and calendula.

Tea Tree Oil - known as an effective acne fighter as well. It has been shown to be as effective as benzoyl peroxide in treating acne, with less drying, stinging and redness

Gum Guggul - has also shown to help with inflammation, one clinical study showed gum guggul to be as effective as tetracycline

Aloe Gel - has astringent and antibacterial properties and is applied topically.

Calendula: This flower is known for its healing property and it is been used since Cleopatra time. It enhances the healing process of the skin tissues.

Witch Hazel: It is popularly known for its astringent and anti-bacterial properties. It is beneficial in tightening your skin pores and removal of the excess oil.

Many people feel that they are getting a good, restful night of sleep, yet they complain of feeling tired during the day. A common cause of a bad nights sleep and thus feeling sleepy during the day is sleep apnea. Even following what is believed to be a restful night of sleep, the real fact is that sleep apnea has prevented the person from truly getting the rest they need, but they do not know it.

Sleep apnea is the common term for when you stop breathing for a few seconds while you are sleeping. It is believed that sleep apnea affects about 18 million Americans.

Among the most common symptoms of sleep apnea is waking up in the morning with a headache. Many people will also say that when they wake up, they feel as if they have not slept at all. On the other hand, some will say that the feel like that got a restful night of sleep as previously mentioned. It is also common to feel that your throat is dry upon waking. Their sleeping partner may describe them as snoring loudly during the night or remark that they jump up suddenly during the night and then turn and go right back to sleep.

Most of the symptoms of sleep apnea, including the headache one may experience upon waking up in the morning, are caused by a failure to be able to sleep deeply. For this reason it is important to see your doctor if you believe you may be experiencing sleep apnea. Often, your doctor will order a sleep study to decide the severity of your sleep apnea problem. One of the most common treatments for sleep apnea is a CPAP machine. A CPAP machine has a mask you wear while you sleep to help alleviate the sleep apnea
